Take our redesigned Vehicle and Contact profiles and add a link to any third-party system from Fleetio, enabling collaboration between fleet management software solutions.
Fleetio is constantly growing and adding new features. That’s why we’ve just released updates to Asset Profiles (Vehicles, Contacts, Parts and Saved Places) that puts the most commonly used data and features at your fingertips. We’ve also added a brand new, powerful feature called Integration Links that allows you to link to anywhere outside of Fleetio, further streamlining vehicle and contact management.
Refreshed Asset Profiles
You’ll notice some subtle but powerful changes to Asset Profiles, most notably the streamlined header. The critical and most commonly used actions are still contained here, we’ve just made it faster to update status, groups or assignments directly from the header instead of linking to another page. You'll also be able to quickly see critical alerts on the top right.
Integration Links
We’ve also released a powerful new feature called Integration Links. Start your day in Fleetio and jump off to other systems and applications with one click, allowing you to move seamlessly between systems. Save time by linking directly from a Vehicle or Contact profile to related pages and records in other sites, passing information through dynamic URLs.
Examples
If there’s a web link for your desired page, you can create an integration link with it in our fleet maintenance software!
- Link to your Fleetmatics dispatch dashboard to quickly manage jobs for a specific vehicle
- Link from your driver’s Contact profile in Fleetio directly to their record in your HR software
- Link from a Vehicle’s profile directly to its record in your fuel card software
- Link from your customer’s Contact profile in Fleetio to your CRM tool

How it Works
Add a link to your system of choice to a Vehicle or Contact profile. In the URL field of the link, you can include data from certain fields in Fleetio such as Vehicle Name, Contact Name, External IDs and even custom fields. Clicking the link will take you to that specific page and pass vehicle-specific info based on the URL structure and variables you set up.
After your integration links are created, they automatically appear on the Contact or Vehicle profile on the left side. Learn more about how to set up Integration Links in our Help Center.
