Fleetio takes pride in our remote working culture. We prioritize hiring the top talent in the U.S. no matter where they are located. Twice a year we have our infamous Fleet Week where our entire team converges at our Birmingham headquarters for a week full of bonding and team strategizing.
Last week, April 9 to 15, was one of our biannual Fleet Weeks. Here is a glimpse into our shenanigans:
Hard work and fun
Our office was buzzing with activity. We had a half-day long strategy meeting with all team leads and many cross-departmental brainstorming sessions. Everyone was energized to envision how we could make our products even better.
Top Golf
With the Masters the week prior, we decided to try our hand on the green and visit Top Golf. The pros definitely make it look easy.
Community Landscaping Project
One warm afternoon we got fresh air and landscaped the area in front of our office. We battled stubborn roots to plant Rosemary, Candytufts and Muhly and Dwarf Mondo grasses.
Fireside chat with Julian Maha, Founder & CEO of KultureCity
We had the opportunity to hear Julian Maha share his journey of founding the non-profit KultureCity, which rethinks accessibility to create acceptance and inclusion for autism.
Team Meals
We visited lots of local Birmingham restaurants for team meals, including Roots and Revelry, EastWest, Yo' Mama's and Carrigan's. We also had our traditional dinner and Fleetio themed cookie cake at our CEO Tony's house on the final night.
It is always a blast when we get the entire team together at our headquarters! We cannot wait until next Fleetio Fleet Week.
If you think you would be a good fit on the Fleetio team, we would love to hear from you. Check out our open positions.
